You gather research on what others in your industry are doing, best practices, and trends to evaluate what makes the most sense for you and your business. That includes what others are doing to get customers.</div><div><br></div><div>You may even have customer or social-media-follower envy of the influencers or leaders that you look up to in your field, and think that if you could just emulate what they're doing, you could have similar success.</div><div><br></div><div>You may look at demographic trends for your industry or what experts say are the right groups to target for your market. Stepping out on faith into this scary world of entrepreneurship is tough and sometimes we're just looking for a little validation that we're making the right choices.</div><div><br></div><div>If you lean more towards being a Straddler regularly, you may be more risk-averse or afraid to disappoint, hurt, or offend others. It may take you longer to make decisions because you may seek counsel from a lot of other people to get their approval before acting, even if your gut may have already given you the answer.</div><div><br></div><div>Often this translates into you feeling stuck in a business that others think you should have serving customers that you've always served when you really feel that you should be going in a different direction that is more aligned with what YOU believe your brand should be about.</div><div><br></div><div>You may be frustrated from spending time working with customers that you really don't want to be working with, which takes you away from getting to focus on growing your business to bring in the types of customers that you really want.</div></p></section><section><h3>The Real Deal Holyfield</h3><p><div>You are the Real Deal Holyfield!
